Wonton Cups

Crispy, cheesy, and spicy bites perfect for parties!

Ingredients

  • 12 sheets wonton wrappers
  • 227g (8oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 113g (4oz) bacon, cooked & finely chopped (reserve 2 tbsp for topping)
  • 57g (½ cup) cheddar, grated (reserve 2 tbsp for topping)
  • 3 jalapeños, deseeded & finely chopped (reserve 2 tbsp for topping)
  • 2 stalks green onion, thinly sliced
  • 30ml (2 tbsp) milk or cream
  • Oil or cooking spray for greasing

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Wonton Cups

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a cupcake pan.
  • Press 1 wonton wrapper into each cup. For extra crispiness, lightly spray the wrappers with oil.
  • Bake for 6–8 mins until edges turn golden. Remove and reduce oven to 350°F (175°C).

2️⃣ Make the Filling

  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, jalapeños, green onion, and milk until smooth.

3️⃣ Assemble & Bake

  • Spoon filling into cups. Top with reserved bacon, cheddar, and jalapeños.
  • Bake 8–10 mins until cheese melts and filling is hot.
  • Cool 2–3 mins before serving.

  • Spice Level: Keep jalapeño seeds for extra heat (or omit for mild).
