Hurma Bars (Date & Nut Chocolate Slice)

Creamy peanut butter-stuffed dates coated in crunchy nuts and rich chocolate – a healthy-ish treat!

Ingredients

  • Dates: 25 (pitted)
  • Peanut butter: 200g (or almond butter)
  • Crushed almonds/pistachios: 50g
  • Chocolate topping: 100g dark + 100g milk chocolate
  • Oil: 2 tbsp (coconut or neutral oil)

Instructions

  1. Prep dates: Slit dates open, remove pits.
  2. Fill: Pipe or spoon peanut butter into each date. Press closed.
  3. Coat: Roll in crushed nuts, then freeze 10 mins.
  4. Chocolate dip: Melt chocolate + oil (bain-marie). Dip dates halfway.
  5. Set: Place on parchment paper, chill 1 hour.

Tip: Sprinkle with sea salt for a sweet-salty kick!
