A tropical twist on classic burfi – creamy, fudgy, and bursting with mango flavor!

📝 Ingredients

  • Mango pulp: 500ml (canned or fresh)
  • Sugar: 200g
  • Butter: 150g
  • Milk powder: 595g (full-fat for best texture)
  • Almonds: 1 tbsp, slivered (for garnish)
  • Mango flavoring: ¼ tsp (adjust to brand strength)
  • Orange food color: 1-2 drops (optional)

Optional Decor:

  • Edible gold spray
  • Dried rose petals

👩‍🍳 Method

1️⃣ Cook the Mixture

  • Melt butter in a non-stick pan. Add mango pulp + sugar, boil until sugar dissolves.
  • Reduce heat, stir in milk powder until thick (~10 mins). Add flavoring + food color.

2️⃣ Set & Decorate

  • Press into a lined 13×9″ tray, top with almonds.
  • Set at room temp for 2-3 hours, then refrigerate 1 hour.

3️⃣ Cut & Serve

  • Slice into squares. Garnish with gold spray/rose petals if desired.
